Last year, Habitat Greater Ottawa’s annual gala, Steel Toes & Stilettos was temporarily rebranded to Steel Toes & Slippers. The virtual gala saw over 492 attendees. It was livestreamed in 48 cities in five different countries and raised close to $50,000! Attendees were entertained by local musicians, CBC Ottawa’s Lucy Van Oldenbarneveld as the emcee, and celebrity appearances by Mike Holmes and Annie Murphy from Schitt’s Creek….
